Mono String Staircases

An increasingly popular contemporary style of staircase is the Mono string staircase, I suspect part of the reason for this is that it goes a long way towards satisfying customers desires for a minimalist floating tread style staircase, which would have been satisfied traditionally by a full cantilevered staircase. Although the full floating tread effect of a cantilevered stairs will always be the ultimate in minimalist staircase design a mono string staircase, especially when combined with glass or steel balustrade offers a more than acceptable alternative.
